100% Canadian logs

Cour à bois - Natural solid wood playgrounds

Nature's way of doing things

Wood from our collection logcollection collection comes from selective felling, mainly of trees, to thin out dense immature forests.

Our playground modules are made of 100% Canadian wood logs, natural and untreated, with innovative configurations. The species we mainly use are Alaskan cypress (yellow cedar), red cedar and white cedar. Species are chosen according to project specifications, to ensure durability, longevity and available budget.

The diameter of the logs used for the modules ranges from 150 to 300 millimeters (6 to 12 inches), creating a solid, imposing and stable structure. Natural, untreated and therefore maintenance-free, it is resistant to water, mildew and insects. What's more, our choice of species enables us to offer log lengths from 1200 to 7300 millimeters (4 to 24 feet).
